Palm Coast – The City of Palm Coast has contracted to repair the Belle Terre Parkway pedestrian bridge due to deterioration. This bridge is part of the pedestrian walkway near Buddy Taylor Middle School. The repairs will begin on Monday, September 20 and the completion is expected within 60 days.
The project scope will include replacing all decking boards with Marine grade materials to ensure a longer lifespan than regular pressure treated wood. The structural integrity will be examined to determine if there is any damage. Any damage noted will be replaced.
The bridge and sidewalk will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Mondays through Fridays. The sidewalk will be open from Whiteview Parkway to the beginning of bridge to allow pedestrians access to a crosswalk with a traffic signal.
Any questions should be directed to the City of Palm Coast by submitting a ticket through Palm Coast Connect at palmcoastconnect.com or call Customer Service at 386-986-2360.
