Palm Coast - May is Water Safety Month! Palm Coast Parks & Recreation strives to promote water safety in all aquatics environments and activities. According to the CDC, every day, about ten people die from unintentional drowning. Drowning is the sixth leading cause of unintentional injury death for people of all ages and the second leading cause of death for children ages 1 to 14 years. Our aquatics staff provides lifesaving swim lessons to all ages, from children to adults, as well as courses for the more advanced swimmer. You are never too old to learn how to swim!
