Palm Coast - Due to the loss of pressure in portions of the water distribution system, The City of Palm Coast has issued a Precautionary Boil Water Notice to certain areas of Palm Coast.
As a result, the bacteriological quality of water in this part of the system is questionable. Accordingly, we have notified the customers and we recommend that all water used in the affected areas for consumption and cooking purposes be boiled at a rolling boil for a minimum of one minute is sufficient until further notice. As an alternative bottled water may be used.

The City of Palm Coast will flush the affected lines and collect two consecutive days of bacteriological samples as soon as all flushing and disinfection is completed.
This is a precautionary measure to ensure that the water meets all safe drinking water standards. The notice will remain in effect until satisfactory results from bacteriological samples are received. At that time, the boil water notice will be rescinded and the affected customers will be notified.
