Construction on the pedestrian bridge located on Belle Terre Parkway just south of Buddy Taylor Middle School is nearing completion. The project, which involved the entire removal and replacement of the approximately 6,800 feet of walkway with new boards, has been underway for nearly a month and is slated to be done within the next several weeks. Routine maintenance projects like these help keep the pedestrian bridges looking aesthetically sound while also providing a safe convenient means of mobility throughout the city. After the completion of the Belle Terre bridge, project lead Ricardo Defreitas and his team will oversee the restoration of other similar bridges throughout the city.
