This 5-week, child-with-parent, program teaches an organized sport that highlights sequential directions and gross motor skills necessary to play soccer. May 31 and June 1, 2, 8 - American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification Class - May 31-June 2 and June 8, Friday 5-6:30 p.m.; Saturdays and Sunday 8 a.m.-4 p.m. at Palm Coast Aquatics Center, 339 Parkview Drive. The American Red Cross Lifeguarding course provides entry-level knowledge and skills to prevent, recognize and respond to aquatic emergencies and to provide care for breathing and cardiac emergencies, injuries, and sudden illnesses until emergency medical services (EMS) personnel take over. Pinochle is a trick-taking card game typically for two to four players and played with a 48-card deck. Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays - FootGolf - Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, 5-8 p.m. at Palm Harbor Golf Club, 20 Palm Harbor Pkwy., Palm Coast. Soccer+golf=FootGolf! The cost is $8 per person, with the cart included. Official rules require a No. 5 size soccer ball; players can bring their own, or rent one for $3.
