Palm Coast - The Palm Coast City Council is entering the final phase of its search for a new Palm Coast City Manager and would like to invite the public to a Meet-the-Candidates reception and to the interviews for the four finalists.

The Meet-the-Candidates reception will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday, March 7, in the Community Wing at Palm Coast City Hall, 160 Lake Ave. More than one member of the Palm Coast City Council will likely be in attendance, but the reception will not include a formal meeting.

Also on Thursday, March 7, several Council Members plan to do one-on-one interviews with the finalists. Although those are not public meetings, Mayor Milissa Holland plans to open her one-on-one interviews to any member of the public who would like to observe. Those will be held at City Hall, in the Pine Lakes Conference Room on the second floor, beginning at 8 a.m.

The City Council as a whole will hold a special meeting starting at 9 a.m. Friday, March 8, to interview the finalists together. That will be held in the Council Chambers at City Hall.

The City Council has also scheduled a special meeting at 9 a.m. Tuesday, March 12, with the goal of making a selection for the City Manager position. That special meeting will be followed immediately by the regular Council Workshop.

The four finalists for the position are:

  • Beau Falgout - City of Palm Coast Assistant City Manager (currently serving as Interim City Manager)
  • Robin Hayes - City of Mount Dora City Manager
  • Donald Kewley - City of Ashland (Oregon) Fiber Network Operations Manager
  • Matthew Morton - former City of Duvall, Washington, City Administrator
