Palm Coast - Dance into summer with a variety of dance lessons and other fun activities for adult and senior residents at the Palm Coast Community Center, 305 Palm Coast Pkwy. NE!

Looking to try something new? Join us this summer for Palm Coast Parks & Recreation's new Line Dancing lessons for adults starting Monday, June 18. No experience is necessary. Classes will be every Monday, 6-8 p.m. through mid-August. Admission is $3 per week. Pre-registration is required at www.palmcoastgov.com/register.

If you'd like to give ballroom dancing a try, don't just sit and watch Dancing with the Stars - be part of the action! Experience dance lessons on Tuesday evenings from 6:30-7:30, ranging from the grace and style of the Waltz to feeling the heat of the Cha Cha. Partners are not required, and beginners are welcome. The instructors are Tom and Jo Sanders of Dance with Me. The cost is $10 per class and pre-registration is required at www.palmcoastgov.com/register. Palm Coast Parks & Recreation will be offering two sessions this summer, now through July 10 and again July 17-Aug. 21.

The summer fun doesn't stop there! Come celebrate the first day of summer with the Summer Celebration Cookout at the Community Center on Thursday, June 21, from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Hotdogs and fixings with be provided. Participants are encouraged to bring a side dish. Sign up at the front desk for the dish you are bringing. Admission is $2 and pre-registration is required at www.palmcoastgov.com/register.

Sit, Stitch N' Give - Mondays, 9-11 a.m. Does life have you all tied up in knots? Join us for a chance to unwind. Come chat, knit, crochet, embroider, etc., and laugh with those who understand your desire to take a long piece of thread fiber and create a beloved "work of heart." All levels of experience are welcomed.

Color Me Happy - Mondays, 9-11 a.m. Think you're too old to color? Well, think again! Seniors coloring is a great, fun way to combat stress, promote mindfulness, allow creativity and activate different areas of the brain. Bring your favorite coloring book or pages and colored pencils or use the supplies we have available.

Senior Social Corner - Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9-11 a.m. Looking to get out of the house and mingle? Join our Senior Social Corner and make new friends! Sit and relax in the comfort of our Community Center and chat about whatever is on your mind that day. This is also a great opportunity for seniors who are looking for a meeting space to come and discuss specific topics.

Wood Carvers - Tuesdays, 1-4 p.m. The art of wood carving has a history that spans centuries. At its core, wood carving transforms a piece of wood into a masterfully crafted work of art. This program is open to men and women of all levels and abilities. Participants must bring their own materials.

Pinochle - Tuesdays, 1-4 p.m. Pinochle is a trick-taking card game typically for two to four players and played with a 48-card deck. Derived from the card game bezique, players score points by trick-taking and also by forming combinations of cards into melds.

Open Art Studio - Wednesdays, 9 a.m.-noon. Need a space to create your next work of art? Stop by the Community Center for some creative time. Please bring your own materials.

Mah Jongg - Wednesdays, 1-4 p.m. Mah Jongg is a game that originated in China. Join in on this game of skill, strategy, and calculation and make new friends.

Game Day Social - Thursdays, 12:30-4 p.m. Game Day Social is comprised of a lively, spirited group of individuals who enjoy the camaraderie and competition of dominos, a variety of card games or board games.  Participants are encouraged to bring their favorite game or play one provided by the Parks & Recreation Department.  Light refreshments are served.
