Palm Coast - Celebrating Christmas is not just for kids! Palm Coast Parks & Recreation is offering four Senior Special Events for the holidays this month - a Christmas Party with Santa and three Christmas Movie Mondays.

The Christmas Party with Santa will be 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 21, at Palm Coast Community Center, 305 Palm Coast Pkwy. NE. Seniors are encouraged to put on their favorite Christmas sweater and enjoy a visit from jolly ole' St. Nick.

Participants are asked to bring a favorite cookie recipe for a cookie crumble game, and there will also be a bingo game. Lunch will be catered by Carrabba's. The cost is $5, and pre-registration is required at www.parksandrec.fun/seniors.

Christmas Movie Mondays will be held from 1-3 p.m. on Dec. 3, 10 and 17, also at the Community Center. There's nothing like a good Christmas movie to get you into the holiday spirit! The movies are free, and light refreshments will be served, but participants are still asked to pre-register for planning purposes at www.parksandrec.fun/seniors.

The Christmas Movies will be:

·         Monday, Dec. 3 - "It's a Wonderful Life"

·         Monday, Dec. 10 - "Miracle on 34th Street"

·         Monday, Dec. 17 - "White Christmas"
