Our Future Together

Tell us your Palm Coast story!

Upload Your Video

Please join us as "brand ambassadors" by sharing what you love most about Palm Coast with your neighbors, friends and family! We're seeking short testimonial videos where you can tell the story of how you Found Your Florida - your paradise - in Palm Coast.

What we're looking for

We're sharing a few example videos to help you get started (see below). There's no set formula. We invite you to share a true personal story, or stories, on the following themes:

  • What do you like most about Palm Coast?
  • What excites you about Palm Coast?
  • Do you have an interesting story about how you arrived in Palm Coast?
  • What are you passionate about in Palm Coast?
  • Is there anything unique about you or your family - maybe a special hobby or talent - that you'd like to share?

How we plan to use the videos

We know our residents are our future, and we believe you are the best people to tell the world what a special place Palm Coast is. We plan to use the videos for marketing, public relations and promotional purposes, in both an online video gallery and also for compilation videos, so please submit a video only if you're willing to share your video story publicly!

Who can submit

We're aiming for one video per resident, but if you have a couple of great stories, we can accept up to three videos per resident. Videos will be accepted from Palm Coast residents ages 13 and older. Entrants under 18 years of age require the permission of a parent or guardian. By entering the contest, entrants under 18 years of age indicate that they have obtained the permission of a parent or guardian.

Tips for shooting your video

You can shoot the video using your cell phone, tablet or a camera, and submit it via our website from your computer or directly from your cell phone or tablet. You can find a video on this page with instructions. A few tips:

  • When using a cell phone, hold the phone sideways (horizontal) to shoot the video.
  • Keep it to about a minute long.
  • Pick a setting that's a quiet place with good lighting; use your favorite background or a place that fits with your story, if possible.
  • Start with your name and how long you've lived here.

Some basic ground rules

Remember, this is a fun, positive project, so please keep your videos on-topic and family-friendly. The City will not use videos that are off-topic, use profane language or content, include discriminatory or sexual content, or conduct or encourage illegal activity. Videos will not be used if they endanger the safety or security of others. Also, videos that are a solicitation of commerce will not be used.

Where to submit

Submit your video directly from your computer, cell phone or tablet here. Thank you for telling us how you Found Your Florida in Palm Coast. Together, we're making our future together!

Or email us your written story

If you'd prefer to submit your story in writing, please email it to Cindi Lane, Communications & Marketing Manager, at clane@palmcoastgov.com. Include your name, address and phone number. We will publish excerpts of residents' stories on our Making Our Future Together website.
