Flagler Schools is committed to providing a well-rounded education that empowers students from pre-K through high school graduation to reach their full potential as responsible, ethical, and productive citizens in a diverse and changing world.

The vision for Flagler Schools is to become the nation's Premiere Learning Organization. The district works toward this vision every day by providing personalized learning opportunities for all students – through magnet programs, International Baccalaureate, Advanced Placement classes, college and career dual enrollment classes, Career Academies, 1:1 technology opportunities, virtual programs, and charter schools.

Flagler Schools prepares students for success in the 21st century in many different ways. Teachers integrate 21st-century skills such as critical thinking, creative problem solving, communication, collaboration, and cross-cultural relationship building into daily lessons. In addition to academic programs that give students the opportunity to earn college credit while still in high school, industry certification is offered in a number of areas, allowing students to immediately enter the workforce or continue training at the Flagler Technical Institute.

An Academically High Performing School District, Flagler Schools has received a District Rating of "A" in four out of the last five years.
