UPDATE to the Florida Park Drive sewer repair and road closure (May 15, 9:30am)

Palm Coast - The City of Palm Coast has completed the sewer line repair on Florida Park Drive, but a short segment of the roadway - from Flarestone Court to Forest Hill Drive - will remain closed to through traffic until the weather improves enough to allow for the repaving of the affected roadway. A detour is in place.

That section of Florida Park Drive will be repaved as soon as the weather clears. The City will provide updates when additional information is available.

Palm Coast - The City of Palm Coast is continuing work on an emergency Utility project, and the road closure and detour on Florida Park Drive - from Flarestone Court to Forest Hill Drive - will remain in effect through at least Tuesday, May 15.

Updates will be provided when additional information is available. The unexpected road closure was needed after a gravity sewer line collapsed during a Utility project. The Utility Department has done the needed dewatering system preparations to allow repairs to be made.

Palm Coast - The City of Palm Coast has been able to shorten the road closure and detour on Florida Park Drive to include just the segment from Flarestone Court to Forest Hill Drive.

The detour is expected to be in place for at least three days. Updates will be provided when additional information is available.

The unexpected road closure was needed after a gravity sewer line collapsed overnight Monday during a Utility project. The Utility Department is setting up a bypass pumping system and a dewatering system that will be in place while repairs are made. The City will be tank-trucking the wastewater system in that area until the bypass pumps are set up.
