Palm Coast - A group of 15 enthusiastic kids came out to the Palm Coast Tennis Center on Saturday, Jan. 27 for the Net Generation Kid's Day. This event was part of the larger Palm Coast Men's Futures Tournament: A USTA Pro Circuit Event running through Sunday, Feb. 4. Kids, ages 6-16, were instructed by Michael Arrigo, our tennis professional; Pat Dempsey, a USTA Junior Team Tennis Coordinator; and Fabio Gambetta (USA), an amateur tennis player. The kids were broken into appropriate groups and enjoyed doubles play and tennis activities designed to hone their skills. Afterwards, the group was rewarded with some delicious ice cream.

Net Generation brand is a new USTA initiative to expand tennis support for young players. Net Generation is designed to suit players based on their skill level and developmental readiness. The goal is to inspire a new generation of tennis players, parents and providers (coaches and those which organize tennis events). Net Generation is focused on empowerment, unity and play, with an emphasis on learning through play and building character on and off the court - not just through drills and competition. The Palm Coast Tennis Center is a proud supporter of the Net Generation movement and we offer Net Generation clinics throughout the year.
