A Message from the Palm Coast Fire Department

Firefighters Look and Act Different, But Life Safety is Always Our Priority
Please know that we are doing everything we can to combat the spread of the COVID-19 virus. If you encounter Palm Coast firefighters while on an emergency or in public places, please understand that we will be taking precautions to protect you, our fellow residents, and the men and women of the Palm Coast Fire Department. Our personnel are not being rude, but merely taking every action possible to keep our community safe.
Things you may encounter:
Only one firefighter may enter your homes during a call, unless there's an immediate life threat.
Firefighters may ask you to come outside of your home, so we can do a full assessment.
Firefighters may wear a full face mask, respiratory, glasses, gloves and gown inside your home.
Firefighters may wear a cloth mask and practice social distancing while in public places.
We appreciate your cooperation and understanding during these challenging times.
We remain at full staffing, ready and willing to respond to emergencies during the spread of the virus. We are taking this precautionary measure to ensure that all of our residents, family, friends and fellow coworkers stay healthy.
Continue to do your part, follow the CDC guidelines and help us Stop the Spread and Flatten the Curve.
