Wednesday, September 21 CORA "Understanding Fall Risk and Balance Disorders"

Presented by CORA Rehabilitation Clinics. Ward Daron PT will discuss FAll Risk and Balance Disroders. Statistically, falls are the primary casue of injury for those age 55 and older. Dizziness is the 2nd primary reason for seniors' physician appointments. Inforamtion presented will discuss the risks and reasons for fall and dizziness and prevention techniques all can utilize.
Our speaker War Daron, PT graduated from the Catholic University in Leuven, Belgium in 1992. He has been a practicing as a physical therapist for over 20 years.
Friday, September 30 "Understanding Osteoporois Prevention and Treatment."
In partnership with the People's Friendship Club, Cody Grady: Clinic Director and Board-Certified Physical Thearpist at PT Solutions @ Florida Hospital Flagler, will be speaking about teh benefits of exercise and a healthy lifestyle on the prevention and treatments of patients with Osteoporois/Osteopenia.
Cody graduated from Capital University in Columbus, OH with a Bachelors of Arts in Biology and suppmental studies at the National University of Ireland Galway. Graduated with a Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree from the University of St. Augustine in Health Science.
Friday, October 14, "First Coast Heart and Vascular Center"
Dr. J. Caracciolo, MD., F.A.C.C, a board certified cardiologist with First Coast Heart & Vascular Center will be the guest speaker. Dr. Caracciolo received his medical degree from St. Geroge's University School of Medicine, Grenada, WL and completed his residency at Yale University's, Norwalk Hospital Program. Presently he is the Owner/Managing partner of First Coast Heart and Vascular Center, PA, in St. Johns County. First Coast is in the process of opening an office in Palm Coast.
