Senior Programs

Once a month, the City will offer a selected trip to the community. Registration includes : transportation to and from designated trip, admission into the attraction, lunch may be on your own or lunch may be included into the price. Each participant must fill out a registration form prior to the trip date. A registration form must be filled out for each desired trip. Payment is due at time of registration. First come, first serve.

Looking for a new hobby or a favorite past time. Whittle your way to tranquility while meeting new people. This is a relaxed carving group that is mixed with men and women. All levels of experience are welcome, from beginners to seasoned carvers. Visitors are welcomed to observe at any time.

The AARP Tax-Aide program has nearly 32,000 volunteers staffing 8,500 sites across the United States. These IRS certified volunteers provide free tax counseling and preparation services to millions of low- and middle-income taxpayers, with special attention to those ages 60 and older.

Frieda Zamba Swimming Pool

The Learn-to-Swim Program is designed to teach children, teens and adults to swim in a positive , fun and safe environment. The City of Palm Coast offers swim lessons emphasizing logical skill progression, water safety awareness, and endurance. Classes are held Monday through Thursday. Maximum of 6 participants per class.

Teen Programs

Looking for a great summer experience working with children? The City of Palm Coast Parks & Recreation Department offers a Counselor in Training Program. This program is a wonderful opportunity for teens who want to further develop their leadership and communication skills as well as gain valuable experience in planning and instructing activities for young children at Summer Camp.

How to become a CIT?

• Complete a Volunteer Application
• Provide 2 Personal Reference Forms
• Complete a Scheduled Interview; Candidates will complete a Selection Process and notified if selected

Deadline is May 14th
