Accounting Technician II
Under direct supervision, the purpose of the job is to perform routine accounting and general administrative support work according to generally accepted standard accounting principles, established administrative procedures, departmental guidelines, and regulatory requirements applicable to the work.  Employees in this job classification function at staff level to accomplish assigned functions according to established schedules, calendars, projects, and programs of the department. Under supervision, performs semi-skilled to skilled vehicle and equipment operation in the installation, maintenance and repair tasks associated with City infrastructure development and public properties management. Lifeguard
Under general supervision, the purpose of the position is to ensure the safety of patrons at the City's public swimming facility. Under direction, the purpose of the position is to review and analyze construction plans and specifications for permitted construction projects, to include structural, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, and engineering construction of residential, commercial and multi-family construction for compliance of appropriate building codes regulating building construction, alterations and repairs. Applicant must possess and maintain a Standard Certificate as a plans examiner with single and double endorsement in trade of choice to include building, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and one and two family dwelling, as approved by the Building Official, issued by the Florida Building Code Administration and Inspection Board as well as previous experience in the completion of plans examining.  Associate's Degree with major course work in engineering or architecture and seven (7) years' experience as a contractor or superintendent of construction; or an equivalent combination of training and experience required.  Must possess or obtain, a valid Florida Driver's License.
