Golf Course General Manager
Under direction, the purpose of this position is to manage the day-to-day operations of the property, to include, golf operations, revenue generation and facilities maintenance in a manner that maximizes revenues, customer satisfaction and staff development. Will provide training, direction, supervision and evaluation to all staff. Manages budget and expenses by aggressively managing labor according to demand patterns; reviewing all monthly expenditures, G/L and P&L for accuracy; monitoring inventory levels for all merchandise; performing required course audits. Generate revenue by acting as a sales manager for the entire club; aggressively seeking and booking tournament and league events; manages daily reservation system ensuring price integrity and demand opportunity; develops monthly sales promotions and effectively advertises. Manages facilities by working closely with all department heads and applicable City departments. A Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Hospitality Management or related field. Must possess (3) years' of management experience in Golf, Hospitality or the Service industry. PREFERRED. Must possess a valid Florida Driver's license.
