Business & Growth

Business & Growth

Palm Coast is a great place to live, work, play – and do business!

Our City is committed to developing and maintaining a strong economy by supporting the growth and development of new and existing businesses through "Prosperity 2021," while creating an environment to attract new companies that align with our values.

Growth has been strong in recent years – in jobs, capital investment, tourism, taxable sales, real estate values and both residential and commercial development. And we’re expecting that strong growth trend to continue.

Prosperity 2021 is the City’s strategic economic development plan, with the primary goals being to maintain our neighborhoods; to support existing businesses; and to encourage investment by attracting residents, visitors and businesses. In 2015, we opened a new Palm Coast City Hall in the heart of Town Center, and our staff is here to assist you.

The Palm Coast Business Assistance Center plays an important role in economic development, providing assistance in starting and growing businesses in Flagler County, at no cost to businesses. The BAC is operated in partnership with the Small Business Development Center at the University of Central Florida and is housed at Palm Coast City Hall.

Please explore our Business & Growth website to learn more about the BAC, growth and development trends, traffic counts, public-private partnerships and the State Road 100 CRA. We have quarterly reports on economic development trends and links to our Week in Review reports with the latest on development activity.
