Become a Class Instructor
Do you have a talent or skill that you'd like to share with others? The City of Palm Coast invites you to join our Parks & Recreation Department. We recruit instructors to teach a wide variety of classes that provide local residents with positive recreational experiences, offer opportunities to learn new skills and encourage community involvement.
Classes can be taught at the Palm Coast Community Center, Holland Park classrooms, athletics fields or any of the park pavilions. The City registers all class participants on a first come, first served basis. We help promote all of our classes at our Special Events, City Facilities, Website, Facebook Page, Press Releases and much more.
If you are interested in performing professional technical work or instructing in various recreation activities, please click here to download the Class Proposal, a requirement for all candidates to complete. Once your Class Proposal has been submitted, reviewed and approved, the Recreation Supervisor will contact you. All Instructors must complete a background check, drug and alcohol screening, fingerprints and new hire paperwork prior to teaching classes.
