Goals
Streets
- A minimum of 84% of paved lane miles will be assessed as being in satisfactory or better condition.
- 40% of the citizens will rate road conditions as good or excellent.
- 100% of pot hole or road damage will be repaired within five working days.
- General appearance of rights-of-way will be free of litter and sufficiently trimmed so as not to generate complaints from the public.
Storm Water Drainage
- A minimum of one third of the storm drainage system will be assessed as being in satisfactory or better condition.
- 40% of the citizens will rate the storm drainage system as good or excellent.
- Reduce storm drainage system rehabilitation expenditures per capita by 10% annually.
- 100% of swale drainage complaints will be inspected within 5 working days.
- 100% of swale drainage complaints will be resolved within 60 days.
Solid Waste
- Increase the percent of solid waste recyclables materials collected per total refuse 10% annually.
- 75% of the citizens will rate the refuse collection system as good or excellent.
- 75% of solid waste complaints will be resolved within two working days.
Fleet Maintenance
- Average turn around time for 75% of repairs from time of damage/breakdown will not exceed one week.
- Assist user departments in determining and proper equipment requirements and acquiring at the most reasonable cost.
- Installation of automated fuel dispensing system and establishment of maintenance schedules by vehicle equipment and type.
Facilities Maintenance
- Average turn around time for repairs from receipt of request to completion of repair shall not exceed five working days for minor/routine items.
- Inventory all City facilities and establish routine preventative maintenance standards and schedules.
Overall Departmental Goals
- Safety training holding a minimum of one safety training meeting per month.
- Increase employee retention by a minimum of 10%
- Cross train a minimum of 40% of employees
