WATER TREATMENT PLANT 'OPERATOR OF THE YEAR' - RIGHT HERE IN PALM COAST

He's simply the very best! Palm Coast's own Fred Greiner, the City's Utility Chief Operator at Water Plant #2 (Citation Blvd.), was awarded the Southeast Desalting Association's 2012 Operator of the Year Award at the organization's June symposium in Bonita Springs. Fred was recognized for his outstanding service and dedication to Palm Coast's Water Plant #2 membrane operations, as well as his leadership within the industry. His guidance as the Captain of the City's highly successful TOP OPS Team has also garnished Fred many accolades. The American Water Works Association's TOP OPS program invites teams to compete annually at national and international levels with other utility teams, answering intricate questions about water distribution and treatment, hydrology, chemistry, basic science and plant maintenance. Since 2005, the City's TOP OPS team has won four championships and has placed second three times.

UNIFIED LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE (LDC) Click here to view the City's first Unified LDC adopted by City Council on August 19, 2008 under Ordinance # 2008-16.	CITYWIDE AMENDMENT TO THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP On October 21, 2008, the City Council adopted Ordinance # 2008-23 whereby amending the City of Palm Coast Official Zoning Map. The purpose of a citywide amendment to the Official Zoning Map was to implement the provisions of the City's first Unified (complete) Land Development Code that was adopted by City Council on August 19, 2008.
