CELEBRATE PARKS & RECREATION MONTH IN JULY

Enjoying leisure time in Palm Coast is one of the best, most important pleasures of living in our City. To enhance the experience for the community, the Parks & Recreation Department will offer an abundance of unique activities in July. Events are FREE and designed to encourage families to spend quality time together utilizing parks amenities and facilities. Mark your calendars to participate in the following:

Wednesday, July 4th – Pack the Pool Day, 10:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Frieda Zamba Swimming Pool, 339 Parkview Drive. Wear red, white and blue for free admission.

Saturday, July 7th – Kids "Tri-Bike-It, Swim-It, Run-It", 8:00 a.m. at Belle Terre Park, 339 Parkview Drive. Children, grades K-5 (just completed) will join a fun triathlon and everyone is a winner! Register at the Community Center by Tuesday, July 3rd.

Friday, July 13th – Free Movie in Central Park at dusk. This gathering will feature the popular film, Hugo, and also present music from Judy Moody & the Not So Bummer Summer.

Saturday, July 14th – Summer Shotgun Race at the Palm Harbor Golf Club, 20 Palm Harbor Drive. 2/4 mile race begins at 8:00 a.m. Register at palmcoastgov.com/summershotgun.

Friday, July 20th – Dive-In Movie at the Frieda Zamba Swimming Pool, 7:30 p.m.

Saturday, July 21st – Third Annual Tour De Palm Coast, traveling the Graham Swamp Trail beginning at 8:00 a.m. at the Old Kings Road trailhead.

Tuesday, July 24th – Kick Start to 5K, Flagler Palm Coast High School Track, 5:30 p.m. Train and learn about running a 5K race, including nutrition, stretching and physical training. Pre-registration will be required.

Friday, July 27th – Friday Night Live Concert at European Village, 7:00-10:00 p.m. featuring Caribbean Posse.

Saturday, July 28th – Ice Cream Party in Ralph Carter Park, adjacent to Rymfire School, 6:00 p.m. Free ice cream will be served for two hours.

Also, Open House at the Palm Coast Tennis Center, 1290 Belle Terre Pkwy, 8:00 a.m. Details coming soon.

UNIFIED LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE (LDC) Click here to view the City's first Unified LDC adopted by City Council on August 19, 2008 under Ordinance # 2008-16.	CITYWIDE AMENDMENT TO THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP On October 21, 2008, the City Council adopted Ordinance # 2008-23 whereby amending the City of Palm Coast Official Zoning Map. The purpose of a citywide amendment to the Official Zoning Map was to implement the provisions of the City's first Unified (complete) Land Development Code that was adopted by City Council on August 19, 2008.
